Tables
These tables were made for private clients. I developed a clay body able to withstand extreme shrinkage stress, allowing for the forming of large seamless slabs. This clay body is also a version of the high contraction soda clay body I developed over a four year period, described this article: Ceramics Monthly.
José Rodrigo
An old-school metalsmith from Madrid, the highly talented Spanish-Canadian José Rodrigo designed and hand hammered all the metal work. He had an impeccable, lyrical touch, and I am grateful to have known him, and to have made many collaborations with him over the years.

Music
At the Canadian Craft Museum, the inimitable Sal Ferreras (right) is playing the "water drum" which we made in collaboration. When the metal rods are struck, they produce different tones depending on the level of water in the vessel. I am playing an Udu drum which I made using Neriage technique; one of the many types of instruments I made for and with musicians, both local and international.
